format of the course
The Format of the Course:
- The course runs September – June of each academic year.
- The main format of the year consists of teaching and huddles.
- The main hub of the teaching will be made available weekly to download from the new form website and will mostly consist of recorded sessions from Form 1 teaching sessions, along with handouts to download where available. Teaching sessions are usually around 2 hours long, and are on a wide variety of topics including: Kingdom, Covenant, Lifeshapes, Prayer, the Bible, Spiritual Warfare, Intimacy with God, What is Church, Money, Worship, Relationships, Accountability, Grace, Spiritual Disciplines, Prophecy, Myers Briggs, Community, Culture, Faith, Mission and Evangelism and more!

- Form Access trainees would be expected to listen to and make notes on one teaching session per week (up to 2 hours long.)
- Trainees will be placed in Form Access huddles which would meet on average fortnightly on a Monday evening. These evenings will have a mixture of worship, huddle time, prayer and live input from staff at Philly & KC and discussions.
- Huddles are between 5-8 people and help trainees work through the teaching and what God is doing with them. Every huddle will have a huddle leader who is there to help each trainee best engage and process the teaching, and apply what they are learning to their life context.
- Trainees will have access to other written and audio resources from the Form Library based at Philadelphia to use as they wish.
- Each trainee would also have the option of having a mentor found for them from within the church body for the duration of the course.
- There are 3 weekend retreats during the year (September, February, June) to allow for longer huddles, live teaching sessions, worship and fun time together.
- Trainees would be expected to complete a number of projects throughout the year, based on the teaching, and personal character development.
- There are a number of opportunities for mission together throughout the year.
