Form 2 is our discipleship year for young adults committed to developing the leadership call that God has placed on their lives.
Form 2 is apprenticeship based, and alongside 1 day a week of formal teaching, trainees would be based in an apprenticeship placement for at least 1 day a week. Trainees would also be expected to have a part-time job in order to be able to finance themselves.
Apprenticeship days will vary in content according to the individual. We will look to place each trainee with an appropriate member of staff or department, or significant leader within the church, to serve in the context God has called them to whilst receiving ‘on –the-job’ training and mentoring, and practice in leadership. These apprenticeships will be decided after discussion and prayer with each trainee discerning where it would be most beneficial to place them.
Apprenticeships could be in the following areas:
- Youth
- Children
- Inner city estates
- Vulnerable People
- Students
- Church leadership
- Workplace
- Church planting
